Sunny Cords started in 2016 with a simple thought: a glasses cord can be beautiful too.

Not as an afterthought. Not as a necessary evil. Florine Kemp founded Sunny Cords under the Australian sun, with one belief: if you're going to wear something around your neck, it may as well be something you're proud of.

What began as a small frustration with lost and tangled glasses grew into a movement. Today our glasses cords and necklaces are found in more than 800 stores across 40 countries, from opticians in Amsterdam to leading concept stores in Tokyo and Dubai. Not because we pushed so hard, but because the idea was so obvious: eyewear jewellery. Jewellery and function, at the same time.

In 2026 we're introducing the Ring Edit®, a necklace with a ring made especially for your sunglasses. No cord, no clip. Just a necklace you wear, with a place for your glasses.
